They came to our house to see our belongings firsthand, so we didn’t have to fill out an awful online survey to find out how many boxes we had. That was a big reason why we chose Morgan Transfer. It’s just simpler to have someone come and see your stuff. The final cost did come under their estimate, which was a nice surprise, too. They explained how weekends have a 4-hour minimum by state law, and then there is a higher hourly rate for weekends, none of which we knew. That helped us to choose to move on Friday instead! Before calling Darin, I would wake up from a dead sleep thinking (and stay up for hours) about how we would get our possessions 600 miles to Idaho. This went on for a few weeks. We had Darin over for an estimate, and I was immediately relieved. Darin spent a great deal of time going through our house, finding out exactly what was going on the truck. In the end, Darin was off only 240 lbs on a 12K load, which was very impressive by any standard. On moving day, Morgan Transfer was professional, safe, and non-stop. Eight days later, our stuff arrived in Idaho. Don and some locals helped safely and professionally unload our belongings. I cannot stress enough how great this experience was for my wife and I.
